Ethan Harbinson

Ethan Harbinson is 11-years-old and lives in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Born in Key West he knew where to move 3 years ago to start surfing competitively. Ethan spends the majority of his afternoons at New Smyrna Beach Inlet and when he isn’t in the water, Ethan enjoys skateboarding, jiu jitsu, baseball and soccer. Ethan loves to travel out of the country for surfing and is looking forward to some upcoming trips.

Since hitting the water in 2015 Ethan has been a competitor. In the 2018 NSSA East Coast Championships Ethan placed 1st in both the Open Mini Grom and Explorer Super Grom divisions. At the 2018 ESA Southeast Regional Championships, Ethan placed 4th in the under 12 division and 6th in the under 14 division.

Being a team rider for Erie Surfboards, Ethan has been able to work one on one with Erie to get dialed in on the perfect boards. He enjoys spending time at the factory sweeping the floors watching his boards come to life. Ethan is also supported by GROM USA, Xcel Wetsuits, Dakine Surf, Raw Elements USA, and GoJuice NSB.
